Dear Chess Friend,
We are happy to announce that Judit Polgar’s Global Chess Festival sponsored by Morgan Stanley will be held on Saturday, the 8th of October 2022. Due to the large success of last year, it will be a hybrid event again. We invite you to Budapest to feel the buzz of the Festival at the Hungarian National Gallery, or if you cannot make it, join online. Women in Chess – Women in Science will be in focus this year. The Chess in Education Summit 2022 will discover how chess can be used as an educational tool in the modern classroom as acknowledged educational experts, teachers, and leading thinkers from various disciplines share their views, experience, and passion. Children, parents, and teachers can have an insight into the practical application of the Judit Polgar Method. Chess lovers can participate in various chess activities. Please check our website for more details. Programs are uploaded continuously.
FOR ORGANIZERS:
Traditionally, we inspire organizers of chess events from all over the world to join us on October 8, to celebrate the beauty of chess. Register your own online or offline program HERE no later than the 20th of September.
The mission of Judit Polgar’s Global Chess Festival is to promote the 1000 faces of chess all around the world. We aim to share the beauty of chess with 5 million people by 2025, to connect and enjoy chess-related activities on the day of the festival. We feel it is important to express our passion for chess and highlight that chess is a universal language.
